Drain Fly

Drain flies, also called moth flies, can be quite a nuisance, especially in restaurants and other buildings with floor drains. Drain flies are small, weak flying, and have very large membranous wings in proportion to their body size. They breed in the gelatinous scum inside the drain pipes. Scrubbing the inside of these pipes with a long handled scrub and then placing window screen on top of the drain will decrease the number of flies inside the building.
